TRANSNATIONAL MEETINGS

CORFU - GREECE NOVEMBER 2017

From November 14 to 18, 2018, the first transnational meeting takes place in Corfu (Greece). There we met the four participating countries to get to know each other and start working.

The first day we went to the high school and they welcomed us and invited us to a breakfast. Then the students of the center served as our guide and they showed us all the facilities.

During these days we had several meetings in which we agreed on several aspects such as: dates of the different mobilities and the next transnational meetings, tasks to work during the project, realization of a logo, tasks to work in each one of the mobilities ... We also discussed how the dissemination of the project was going to be done and we distributed the tasks to be carried out by each country. And we worked on many other relevant aspects of the project.

In the School Museum of Skripero the official welcome was made with different authorities of the island and with the Philharmonic Orchestra of Skripero. There each delegation of the country made the presentation of their country and their school.

November 17 was a special day in Greece, and an event commemorating the transition to the current republic was held in the high school (POLYTECHNEIO 17 /11/1973).

Then we had lunch at school, this lunch was offered to us by parents of the students with local dishes.

The previous days apart from attending the meetings we also knew some of the typical places of Corfu, we walked through the center of the city, we visited the Kapodristas Museum and the Achilleion Palace.

SHORT - TERM JOINT STAFF TRAINING EVENT

At the same time that the First Transnational Meeting was held, the first of the activities took place: Short - Term Joint Staff Training Events.
The host country organized a workshop with the local University of Ionian and the Department of Information Technology, in order to exchange good practices on Mathematics and how teachers could combine them with information technology (ICT). In this course the teachers were able to learn new ideas and methodologies to teach the subject of mathematics from a more playful perspective, increasing the motivation of the students and then transferring the experience to other areas.

MONTESARCHIO - ITALY DICEMBER 2018

From December 17 to 19, 2018, the second transnational meeting took place in Montesarchio and Naples (Italy). In the different meetings we have agreed on the dates of the two mobilities that will be made in 2019 and the activities that must be worked on. Likewise, a follow-up and an evaluation of the project has been done up to this moment, we have talked about the diffusion, E-twining ... some problems have been solved, etc.

We also exchanged the Christmas greetings made by the students: the mathscards.

The third and last Transnational Meeting took place in Santa María de Guía (Gran Canaria) on May 6 and 7, 2019, along with the fourth mobility of this project. In the meetings that were held these two days, the following topics were discussed: Dissemination, evaluation, impact and sustainability of the project.
