MONTESARCHIO - ITALY
Montesarchio is an Italian town of the province of Benevento in Campania. It is the most populous municipality in the province where it is located, after the capital of Benevento.
Located 18 km south-west of the capital, in the Valle Caudina, at the foot of Mount Taburno. This and the hill, called Torre , dominate the city, taking the name of the monument that has dominated it for centuries, the Torre di Montesarchio, in fact, stands there. In addition to the tower, the hill houses a castle and, further down the hill, the two parts of the old city, the vetere side and the new side .
The current name of the municipality originated in the Middle Ages by Mons Arculi or Mons Herculis later changed to "Montesarculo".

The First Mobility
The first day - Monday, 12th of March, 2018
At 9 in the morning we were all at the Enrico Fermi Institute. The host country welcomed us and then we visited the center.
Then we visited the center of the mucnicipium until we reached the town hall where the local authorities received us and offered us an aperitif.
We returned to the highschool and attended a musical made by the Italian students. After the group of erasmus students danced some typical songs of their respective countries.

The second day - Tuesday, 13th of March, 2018
​
We began the day with exhibitions of the work carried out by the different countries of the subject to be treated in this mobility "Mathematics and art".

After the participating students were divided into five groups and began the treasure hunt through the different sites of the highschool and the village.

When the treasure hunt in the highschool was over, a buffet offered by the families awaited us. In the afternoon we went to visit Benevento.

The third day - Wednesday, 14th of March, 2018
​
Visit to the beautiful city of Pompeii and Naples. In the morning we visit the impressive city of Pompeii and in the afternoon we wander around Naples a bit.

The fifth day - Friday, 16th of March, 2018
In the morning we were in the highschool doing various mathematical activities. The first was to mount a power point or a text file with the biography of different Italian mathematicians. And the second activity we did was the resolution of mathematical problems made by the different teams.

In the afternoon we visited Caserta.

​
And on the way back they invited us to the farewell party.
